67-year-old McLeansboro resident, Lena Faye Murphy, died at 5:15 a.m. Friday, June 7 at her home. She was a bus driver, and employed by the Hamilton County Unit #10 for 27 years.
Surviving are her father, Barrett Young of McLeansboro; one daughter, Amber Allen; one son, Aaron Murphy of McLeansboro; two sisters, Leta Allardin and Kim Siedler both of McLeansboro; one brother, Joe Young of Clarksville, IN; two sisters-in-law, Marion Thomas of Springerton and Cindy Talkington of Godfrey, IL; two granddaughters, two grandsons and one great-granddaughter, along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Lena Faye Murphy will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 11 at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Burial will be in Buckeye Cemetery at Fairfield.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 10 at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
Memorials will be accepted for the family at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
