89-year-old Fairfield resident, Esther C. Turner died at 1:10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3 at Way-Fair Rehab and Nursing Home in Fairfield. A member of the First Baptist Church in Fairfield, she had worked for Hart’s Ready To Wear for several years and at Carnaby Square before retiring.
Survivors include a son, Charles (Sue) Turner of Fairfield; a daughter, Janice (Dean) Linder of Fairfield; a sister, Mary Lou Sager of Claremont, IL; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Esther C. Turner will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 7 at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7 until the time of service at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Children Hospitals or SSM Hospice of The Good Samaritan and will be accepted at Nale’s Funeral Home in Fairfield.
