Robert E. Porter, 72, of Cisne died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Cisne Rehab and Healthcare Center. Robert worked as a set-up man at AMF in Olney, IL. He was an Army veteran during the Vietnam era and was a member of the Cisne American Legion.
Survivors include a sister, Donna (Paul) Gibson and one brother, Ivan, all of Cisne; Two step-daughters, Janet Greene and Jeanette Harlan, both of Lawrenceville, IL; Three step-sons, James (Georgia) Harlan of Lawrenceville, IL, Dennis (Susanne) Harlan of Brownsburg, IN, and Steven (& companion William Adamson) Harlan of Evansville, IN; one nephew, Kyle Porter, and several grandchildren.
Services for Robert Porter will be Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 2:00pm at the Hosselton Funeral Home, with burial in the Cisne Cemetery, with full military rites.
Visitation will be from 12:00 until time of service on Thursday at the Hosselton Funeral home in Cisne.
Memorials may be made to the family and will be accepted at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne.
