78-year-old Bandana, KY resident, formerly of McLeansboro, Danny Paul Stover, died at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, June 22 at his home. He was the former owner of Cotter-Stover Ford in McLeansboro. He served in the United States Army, and played semi-pro ball for the St. Louis Cardinals.
Surviving are his wife Ann; one son, Randy Paul Stover of Phoenix, AZ; one daughter, Cindy Lou Allardin of Bandana, KY; one brother, David of McLeansboro; one sister, Georganna Miller of Benton, IL; two brothers-in-law, Jan Rountree of Dale, IL and Howard Wayne Robertson and wife Rosemary; five grandchildren and two great-grandchidren.
Funeral services for Danny Paul Stover will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 25 at the First General Baptist Church in McLeansboro. Burial will be in Ten Mile Cemetery at McLeansboro.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 24 at the First General Baptist Church in McLeansboro.
Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of the arrangements.
