82-year-old Cisne resident, William Lowell Sparr died at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. He was a retired farmer and served 36 years as Elm River Township Road Commissioner.
Survivors include a brother-in-law, Harold Holmes of Fairfield; two step-sisters, Shirley Shelton of Clay City and Peggy Loehr of Newburgh, IN; two step-brothers, Larry Laird of Chabanse, IL and Jerry Copperhill of TN; six nieces and nephews, George Holmes of West Salem, David Holmes of Fairfield, John Bolen of North Carolina and Debbie, Robin and Billie Jo Bolen, all of Minnesota; several great and great-grand nieces and nephews also survive.
Services for William Lowell Sparr will be 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne with burial in Evangelical Cemetery near Cisne.
Visitation will be noon until the time of service Friday, Dec. 6 at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne.
Memorials may be made to the Cisne American Legion and will be accepted at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne.
