Loran L. Bowman, age 78, a resident of McLeansboro and formerly of Bradley passed away October 28, 2015 at Hamililton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro, IL.
He served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1962 during the Berlin Crisis. After returning home from the service, he worked for 42 years at Kankakee Container as a Press Operator.
Loran is survived by his wife Anna of McLeansboro, one son and daughter in law; Mark (Sharon) Bowman of Bradley, two daughters and two sons in law; Katherine (Mario) Genovese of Franklin, TN and Lisa (Dan) Bach of Rockford, IL. Also surviving are 1 sister and brother in law; Helen (Hobert) Campbell of Macedonia, IL and 2 brothers and 2 sisters in law; Dwight (Brenda) Bowman of McLeansboro and Eugene (Norman) Bowman of Enfield, IL, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd from 10 am to 12 pm at the Schreffler Funeral Home Kankakee Chapel.
The 12 Noon funeral Monday will be officiated by Rev. Davey Post at Schreffler Funeral Home, Kankakee Chapel.
