87-year-old Fairfield native, Marti (Deem) Smith of St. Louis died Friday, July 24. A graduate of Fairfield Community High School, she had worked as a bookkeeper for the Chain of Rocks Amusement Park.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen Lowrie; a son, Kevin and wife Maria Smith; 7 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Marti Deem Smith were held Tuesday, July 28 at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. The Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home of St. Ann, MO was in charge of the arrangements.
