81-year-old Geff resident, James Burvill (JB) Courtright, died Friday, January 16 at his home. He was a farmer and worked for FS, Anaconda, Southwire and Airtex. He was a member of the Enterprise United Methodist Church and served as a board member for the Cisne Grade School and North Wayne Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife Darline of Geff; one son, Rev. James Gregory (Pamela) Courtright of Monticello, IL; a daughter-in-law, Debra Courtright of Blytheville, AR; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Janet (JW) Pyle of Winder, GA and Gladys (Karel) Smith of Decautr, IL; two brothers, Gary (Dorothy) Courtright of Waters, MI and Lewis (Vicki) Courtright of Cisne; a sister-in-law, Deloris Atteberry of Cisne; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for James Burvill (JB) Courtright will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 20 at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne. Burial will be in Cisne Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, January 19 at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne.
Memorials may be made to Enterprise United Methodist Church, and will be accepted at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne.
