Charlene Keener, 81, of Albion, IL died Monday, December 29, 2014 at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel, IL. Born and raised in Pond Creek, she was a homemaker and loved antiques, sewing, cooking, and bird watching. She attended the Free Methodist Church of Albion.
She is survived by 3 daughters; Lisha (Babak) Keener of Rolling Meadows, IL, Lori (Marty) Phillips of Albion, IL, Lynn Keener of Evansville, IN, 1 son; Lonnie (Terri) Keener of Albion, IL, 2 sisters; Marilyn Elliott of Fairfield, IL, Margaret (Al) Erwin of Gilbert, AZ; six grandchildren; Colby Keener, Caleb Keener, Noah Frymire, Leila Basaldua, Chelsea Keener, Alyssa (Greg) Parrott and two great-grandchildren; Thomas Basaldua and Katelyn Parrott.
Funeral services for Charlene Keener will be 12 noon Saturday, January 3 at the Ingram Funeral Home in Albion with burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Albion.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at the Ingram Funeral Home in Albion.
Memorials may be made to the Dr. Dennis Scranton Memorial Cancer Fund and will be accepted at the Ingram Funeral Home in Albion.
