Wayne and Tena Michels of Ellery would like to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter Crystal Michels to Brock Knackmus, son of Rachael Knackmus of West Salem and Jackie Knackmus of Vincennes, IN.

            Crystal is the granddaughter of Larry and Kate Michels of Ellery, IL and the late Robert and Shirley Lyons of Virginia, IL. Crystal is a 2010 graduate of Edwards County High School and a 2012 graduate of Wabash Valley College with an associate’s degree in both Agriculture Production and Agribusiness. She is now attending Southern Illinois University of Carbondale majoring in animal production. She is currently employed as an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay.

            Brock is the grandson of Betty and the late Firman Tipton, and Jack and Cheryl Knackmus all of West Salem. He is a 2011 graduate of Edwards County High School and a 2012 graduate of Frontier Community College with a certificate in electrical distribution systems. Brock is currently employed through Michels Farm.

            Brock and Crystal will join together as one on October 19, 2013 in Albion, Illinois. Formal invitations will be sent out.
