86-year-old Fairfield resident, Donald Gene Compton died at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 9 at Countryside Manor in Mount Vernon. A Teamster, he worked for Meadow Gold Dairy. He was a member of the Ellen Moore United Methodist Church in Fairfield and the Fairfield Elks Club.
Survivors include daughters, LaDonna “Sue” Urba of Bluford and Terri Miller and fiancé Tim Cessna of Fairfield and a son-in-law, Chris Urba of Bluford.
Services for Donald Gene Compton will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12 at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. until the time of service Wednesday, Nov. 12 at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield.
