Henry Ray Woodrow, 81 of Springerton, died Saturday morning July 5, 2014 at the Enfield Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He worked as a mechanic his entire life. He was a U.S. Army veteran; a member of the Springerton American Legion Post #1126. He was a member of the Body of Christ Church in Springerton.
He is survived by 3 sons, James (Shannon) Woodrow of Springerton, Alan (Crissy) Woodrow of Fairfield and Chuck (Becky) Venable of Springerton; a special daughter, Patty Clark of Marion; 2 daughters, Cathy (Ronnie) Wiethop and Crystal (Gary) Armstrong Mitchell of Carmi; 11 grandchildren many great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Verna Lee Etienne of Carmi, Peggy Stahl of Denver, CO and Doris Prince of Enfield.
Funeral services for Henry Ray Woodrow will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday July 10, 2014 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield with burial in Springerton Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Military rites will be conducted by the Springerton American Legion and the Carmi American Legion and VFW.
